July 2024

  • General student messaging with templates: The High-5 tool is now a more general student messaging tool that can be used for situations where staff need to message students without specifically sending a High-5. Templates can be created with merge tags for specific situations to have default message language.
  • Parent notification option on flags: It is now possible to have parents automatically notified via email when a specific flag is added for a student. This option can be configured per flag and default language for the notification can be created as a template ahead of time with merge tags.

June 2024

  • Relationship mapping: It is now possible for teachers and other staff to easily indicate students with whom they have a positive relationship ("key connection"). Teachers can select multiple students from a list and add or remove connections in bulk. They can then easily see all their key connections in the Insights area.
  • Primary job role: It is now possible to specify the primary job role of a staff user specific to each account. This will enable future features such as more intelligent automated assignment of flags.

May 2024

  • Flags report: There is a new Insights report that allows you to show all Flags that have been opened, all Flags opened for a student or a group of students, or all students with a specific Flag. In addition, the report allows you to view statistics for each Flag, including the total number of each Flag opened, the total number of each Flag closed, and the average number of days to close.
  • Adding staff to a Note and sending notifications: When adding a Note, each user receiving a notification is now listed individually. In addition, you can choose to add individual staff members who are not on a student's team.
  • Sending Note replies via e-mail:  Replies to Notes are now sent via e-mail to anyone who received a notification of the original note. (This option may be disabled in Other Settings, which is available from the Settings menu.)
  • Pin notes to the top:  It is now possible to pin a note to the top of the list. For example, this would be a good way to pin a document such as an action plan or list of accommodations so that it is always visible on the student hub.
  • Supports report:  A new Insights report that allows you to show a list of student supports implemented or a count of supports implemented by support.
  • Strengths report:  A new Insights report that lists students and their strengths or you can list all students that have no strengths noted in their student hub yet.
  • Students without connections:  A new addition to the Connections reports in Insights. This lists students for whom no key connections are noted.
  • Edit teacher course section names:  Teachers can now edit the names of their current course sections as listed in Intellispark to make it easier to differentiate them.

April 2024

  • Note topics and replies: It is now possible to create topics for notes and assign a note to a specific topic. You can now also reply to a note and all replies are shown on a new notes tab in the Student Hub. In addition, you can reply to notes directly from the activity digest.

February 2024

  • Staff form reports: There are two new Insights reports for staff forms. You can view staff forms assigned by student or by staff person. This provides a way to see at a glance which students or staff persons still have staff forms that need to be completed.

December 2023

  • A tag can be included in manual csv import: It is now possible to assign a single tag to a student when importing them via manual csv import. This can be helpful when you want to use tags to identify a new cohort of students.

November 2023

  • Add action requests within a flag: It is now possible to add an action request from within the flag detail view. This links the action request to that flag and provides a more comprehensive view of all the activity associated with resolving a flag.

August 2023

  • New global add note with multiple students: You can now add a note from anywhere in the application using the global add menu (+ sign).
