# How do you get started?
## Signing in and configuring your organization's Intellispark account for the first time
Intellispark is a comprehensive technology platform designed to help improve student success in PreK-12 schools, school districts, and youth-serving organizations. Its capabilities are broad, but the platform is designed so that you can get started incrementally — making it easier to introduce throughout your school or organization.
Typically each school, district, or organization designates a site admin who is responsible for getting things set up. If you are a site admin, here are a few simple steps to help you get started:
1. Consider your goals and objectives for your implementation. These could include fostering a culture of positivity with [High 5s](https://support.intellispark.com/knowledge/high-5s?hsLang=en), tracking [strengths](https://support.intellispark.com/knowledge/strengths?hsLang=en), recording [flags](https://support.intellispark.com/knowledge/flags?hsLang=en) and [supports](https://support.intellispark.com/knowledge/supports?hsLang=en), capturing biographical details with the [Get to Know Me survey](https://support.intellispark.com/knowledge/get-to-know-me-survey?hsLang=en), measuring SEL and well-being indicators with [check-ins](https://support.intellispark.com/knowledge/social-emotional-learning-and-well-being-survey?hsLang=en), monitoring college-and-career readiness with [Insightfull](https://support.intellispark.com/knowledge/insightfull?hsLang=en), or tracking and increasing resiliency with [ScholarCentric](https://support.intellispark.com/knowledge/scholarcentric?hsLang=en).
2. Add staff accounts for one or more of your colleagues.
3. Review roles and permissions and make any necessary modifications.
4. Load student information via Clever, ClassLink, or OneRoster. Or, upload student data via a CSV file.
5. Load student photos, if desired.
