High 5's are a great way to give students positive feedback whether you are working with them online or in the classroom.
High 5's can be predefined to make them easy to give to students. For example, you may have categories for positive reinforcement. Default notes can also be added with detail about why the student is receiving a High 5. Pre-populated default notes can be tailored/personalized. As soon as you save the High 5, an email will be sent to the student telling him he has received a High 5. These can be set up to expire at a certain time so that they roll into the <<Previous High 5's>> bucket.
The result is not a lot of work to inject positivity into a student's day. Note the filter option to sort on students who haven't receive a High 5 in thirty days; this feature will help staff identify students who could probably use some positive reinforcement, yet haven't received it.
