Action needed

Actions are found on a Student's Hub Page and can be created by any team member who can access that page.  Actions are used when a follow-up may be needed, perhaps a task for a student or request of a staff member that may need follow-up or a due date. An Action serves as a reminder, a simple way to keep track of things that need to happen, items that might be sent in an email, but can more easily be tracked within a student's record.

Actions provide a lightweight mechanism to keep track of something to be done for a student; they may be used to add responsibility to the student in a way that tracks history of an agreed plan and actions taken. Actions, supports and notes will soon be added functionality to Flags enabling notes, actions or support to be embedded in Flags.
